Clinical Supervision

Mission and Values

I offer trainee and experienced therapists working within the mental health field, a private, collaborate and supportive space for the delivery of clinical supervision to enhance personal growth and professional development. My approach is relational, reflective and integrative to increase awareness and maintain best practice, build upon relationships and promote well being as you navigate the challenges and complexities of your work in mental health, either in, private practice or in an organisational context.

As a supervisor and supervisee, I recognise the importance of client care and the well-being of the therapist and provide a compassionate and protective space where you can feel safe enough to reflect on your work.

 Integrative Approach

During my 28 years as a therapist, I have worked in a variety of settings, such as: private practice, with EAP's, in schools, charity organisations and with social services with individuals and in group context. I understand the importance of integrating a framework that carefully blends supportive guidance and professional elements that is most fitting to your personal approach, client group, ethical practice and environmental setting.

My training as a therapist in several schools of thought and further post graduate studies in clinical supervision enables me to draw upon variety of psychotherapeutic, developmental, social models and supervisory frameworks that can be tailored to fit within your therapeutic approach and practice setting such as, but not limited to: Humanistic, Psychodynamic perspectives, Integrated Developmental Model (Stoltenberg & Delworth, 1987), Hawkins and Shohet's (2012) Seven Eyed Supervisory model and Systemic supervision with a focus on identifying systems of oppression, embracing equality and working within diversity.
